Terms of Sale & Attendance
Last updated · May 16, 2026
The terms you agree to when you buy a ticket and when you attend a Sunday Society event. Buying a ticket constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Agreement
By purchasing a ticket through Sunday Society, or by entering an event with a Sunday Society ticket, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, do not purchase a ticket and do not attend.
Tickets
- All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or credits.
- Tickets are non-transferable. Each ticket is bound to the original purchaser. Resale above face value is prohibited (consistent with Ontario's Ticket Sales Act and Bill 97). Tickets discovered to have been transferred or resold may be revoked without refund.
- Tickets are delivered electronically as a QR code by email and at the unique ticket URL we send you. The QR is the entry credential. Treat it like cash.
- If your QR fails to scan through no fault of yours at the door, we will issue you entry or a replacement. If you have lost or shared the QR with another person who already entered, no replacement is owed.
Door, age, and identification
- Events are 19+. Valid government-issued ID is required at the door.
- The venue's security has final authority on entry, identification, and intoxication decisions. We defer to the venue.
- Ejection by venue security for intoxication, conduct, or violation of venue house rules forfeits your ticket without refund.
Photography and video
Sunday Society and its contracted photographers and videographers may capture photo and video at events for marketing use, including on social media, in advertising, on our website, and in editorial coverage. By purchasing a ticket and attending you consent to such capture and use without compensation. If you would prefer not to appear in a specific shot, ask the photographer in person and they will accommodate where reasonably possible.
Venue house rules
Each event takes place at a third-party licensed venue. The venue may enforce its own rules covering dress code, re-entry, bag checks, last call, intoxication, and outside food or drink. Those rules apply on top of these terms. Where the venue's rules and these terms conflict, the venue's rules govern at the venue.
Cancellation and force majeure
If an event is cancelled, postponed, or materially altered by Sunday Society, we will offer a credit toward a future event where reasonably possible. We do not issue cash refunds.
If an event is cancelled or altered due to force majeure (weather, public-health orders, fire, civil disorder, venue closure, licence cancellation, or any other cause beyond our reasonable control), no refund or credit is owed unless required by applicable law. Where law requires compensation, we will satisfy that obligation with a credit toward a future event.
Chargebacks
Chargebacks initiated through your bank or card issuer revoke the associated ticket. The QR is invalidated and will not scan at the door.
Liability
You attend at your own risk. Sunday Society's liability is limited to the price you paid for your ticket. We are not liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Booth reservations
Booth reservations are arranged by inquiry, not by online checkout. Specific tables, bottle minimums, and deposit terms are confirmed in writing per inquiry. The above attendance rules apply to booth guests in addition to any booth-specific terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
Changes
We may update these terms. The 'last updated' date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Tickets purchased before a change are governed by the terms in effect at the time of purchase, except where the change is required by law.
